AFTER SUBMISSION

Once you have submitted your application to Visa Application Centre (VAC), VAC shall verify that the dossier is complete in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and represent you to submit your application to Visa Offices of IRCC on the next working day.

The Visa Office will evaluate your application and make a decision, visa will be issued or will be sent a letter explaining the reasons for the refusal.

The Visa Office will then release your Passport, safe at the Visa Application Centre, which will inform you via your preferred method of Communication.

Meanwhile, you are able to learn the processing progress via the Online Tracking System which will update you when your passport is ready to be returned. When your processed passport is received by VAC, you could approach VAC for result collection or wait for the courier delivery (if applicable).
